Vision

Don’t let the name fool you.
Some might be mistaken to think that lounge church is a place where we chill out and listen to cool music from our dj. While this is the case some of the time when it comes to preaching the Gospel we do not hold back or water anything down. In Matthew 28:19 God commands us to go and make disciples “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit” NLT. We take this command very seriously.

Our vision

At lounge church if you haven’t already noticed we aim to do things a bit differently. When founders Al Sutton and Peter Graham sat down to map out our vision for this ministry we wanted to address some of the things that were missing in a normal church service. So we’ve taken the concept of a normal “church service” and flipped it on its side. We don’t sit in rows of chairs, we sit in lounges which are scattered throughout the auditorium. Our worship team is a dj named Al Sutton aka djfaderal and his beats flow throughout the night. We also have a house band called Digital Prayers which is a Christian experimental electronica / ambient / dub / drum and base / worship project. Aside from that we will have guest dj’s and worship leaders from time to time just to make sure we are keeping things fresh.
